Dr. Jochen Kleeberg

Dr. Jochen Kleeberg has been passionately dedicated to the foundations of active portfolio management for more than 30 years. Since the foundation of alpha portfolio advisors GmbH in 1998, he has been its managing partner. Until the end of 1996, he headed the German branch of the consulting firm Barra International, where he had been employed since 1991. Dr. Kleeberg is co-editor of the handbooks "Portfolio Management", "Asset Allocation", "Special Funds" and "Hedge Funds" and author of numerous articles in the field of asset management. He received his doctorate in 1994 from the University of Münster at the Chair of Finance under Prof. Dr. Manfred Steiner. He was awarded the 1st University Prize by the Deutsches Aktieninstitut for his dissertation "Der Anlageerfolg des Minimum-Varianz-Portfolios".
