We recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of alpha portfolio advisors and on this occasion invited our clients to an anniversary event in Kronberg. Our founder Dr. Jochen Kleeberg started the day with a review of our company’s history even covering the very early days in the 90s. He also presented the key take-aways from 25 years of investment consulting. This was followed by research presentations on two important topics: quantitative vs. fundamental portfolio management and active management of the equity quota in institutional portfolios. Finally, Johannes Stroebel, Professor of Finance at New York University, gave an exciting presentation about climate risks and their implications for institutional investors. Another highlight was an exclusive private concert at the recently opened Casals Forum, which is one of the highest rated concert halls for chamber music in the world. The program was rounded off by a dinner in a private atmosphere. Many thanks to all participants for the inspiring conversations.
