Fund of Hedge Funds - Research Trip

Our colleagues Michael Billmann and Dr. Marc-André Göricke just returned from several on site visits together with Norbert Leist and Alexander Mimouh from Nordrheinische Ärzteversorgung. On their journey they visited Fund of Hedge Funds Managers in London, New York and San Francisco. Hedgefunds represent a valuable source of diversification for an institutional portfolio as they cover various asset classes and typically try to avoid the respective beta. Fund of Hedge Funds are an elegant way to quickly gain exposure to a portfolio of best in class Hedge Funds that truly deliver the rare to find alpha after fees. After an intensive week the group brought home many interesting insights and valuable inspiration. On top of that, the colleagues were able to absorb the pre-Christmas atmosphere in England and across the USA.
