Recently, our colleagues Florian Hertlein and Lara Schulte travelled to sunny but still frosty Oslo, together with one of our clients to conduct an on-site visit at an asset manager currently mandated by the client.
The main objective was to assess first-hand whether the key factors that initially led to the manager’s selection remain intact. Aside from the formal meetings, the visit also provided an opportunity to engage more informally with analysts and the portfolio manager, gaining valuable insights into the current market sentiment in the Nordic region.
Ideally, visits like these not only reaffirm our selection recommendation but also reinforce our client’s confidence in their investment decision.
